BlueCatAudio stereo chorus skins.

This is my first attempt at creating skin for a VST plugin. I created two Reaper themes earlier and have a pretty good graphic design experience under my belt but never created any skins for VST plugin. You must be wondering why Stereo Chorus? Well, first of all, Blue Cat has a nice framework for their plugin skins. It uses XML files for layout and they’ve a very nice skinning manual and a few tutorials on their website. Secondly, it’s a small plugin so was an obvious choice to start with. I don’t know when it’s going to be available on their website but for the moment, you can download these here:

Copy the downloaded folders to your skins folder within Blue Cat’s Stereo Chorus plugin folder. Select the XML skin file through the menu. You can access the default menu by right clicking on the GUI while using these skins. That’s all.

If you have never used Stereo Chorus plugin, then please visit the Blue Cat Audio website for more info and download links. They have other free plugins available as well.

  1. Since the audio processing required for VST and AU plugins is about the same, something is wrong with Blue Cat's AU plugin.
